Unexplained Helderberg ZS-SAS Items (747-B244 Combi Flight SA-295, ZS-SAS)
I will keep adding to this list
Plane
- Why was the Helderberg (debris field structure) pointing North or NNW perpendicular to the known flight path?
- Why is the debris in three (3) distinct and separate clumps or locations rather than being more evenly dispersed in a single more centralized location (taking ocean currents and piece weight into consideration)?
- Why was a toy car and a jet tube, possibly part of one of the engines (a feed pipe of some kind) found 15 nautical miles away from the “main” debris field? (and they were perfectly clean, it was recent debris according to the reports from the Sonne)
- Why was the toy car and the feed tube, possibly from one of the engines, never recovered for further examination?
- Where is the missing engine and/or what happened to it? After all, it is kind of hard to misplace a 5 or 6 ton piece of condensed equipment made of tungsten, titanium, carbide steel and aluminum, isn’t it?
Passengers
- Why was the passenger manifest set at 140 passengers and 19 crew when there were 141 passengers? There was never any mention of an infant traveling on the flight.
- Why did the mass media never state there was an infant on board?
- Who were the four (4) ex-TYO passengers on the flight who did not go through the security check?
- In total, there were thirteen (13) people who missed the flight, who were they? (I only know 5 names, 3 of which were made public in the SA newspapers at the time)
- Why is so much smoke inhalation and suffocation present in the recovered bodies according to autopsy reports, eg. carbon and CO in the lungs?
- Why has the original “booked” passenger list never been published?
- There was more than one “handler” on the flight, what are all their names?
- If the plane had ditched or broke up on water impact as Boeing alleged (in their second statement) and since there was 12 to 20 minutes between the start and end of the emergency, why didn’t the passengers have their seat belts attached? (bodies recovered showed no seat belts were used, if the plane impacted with seat belts on passengers, the bodies would have been most likely been cut in half, as in other similar situations). Dawie Uys was a seasoned pilot and would have had the passengers “strap-in” at the first sign of emergency.
Procedures
- Why was there so much “deliberate” confusion as to the location of the plane at the onset of the crash investigation?
- What happened to the missing 8 minutes on the CVR recording?
- What happened to the missing 8 minutes on the Mauritius ATC recording.
- The fire allegedly started in main cargo level pallet P/R. Why is there no itemized listing for P/R in the Cargo Manifest?
- What’s this “bubbling sound” at 20:43 (like water filling the cockpit and instrument/electrical shorting noise) on the CVR when the end of the CVR is more than 5 minutes later around 25:54?
- Why is there nitrate related material embedded in the cargo door, bulkhead and fuselage components?
- Why are there so many errors in the cargo manifest and why does it look like it was made after the fact?
- Since the CVR and FDR are of the same approximate size and location in the tail of the plane, how is it only the CVR was found? There is a high probability, both devices would have drifted towards the ocean floor in a very similar manners and ocean current differentials at 10 feet apart should produce minimal drift error, although amplified through a 4400 meter drop.
- Why was there a requirement to use radiation suits to handle certain parts of the plane like the CVR? (depleted uranium counterweights in the wings do not produce sufficient ionizing radiation or shed radioactive particles especially after being under 4400 meters of water).
- Thinus Jacobs stated in his affidavit that the last time he saw Captain Dawie Uys was while he (Dawie) was signing the loadsheet. There are 15 copies of the loadsheet that are spread around to various departments. Why was the loadsheet used by both the Margo Commission and the TRC UNSIGNED.
Politics
- Why does the NPA (National Prosecuting Authority/Scorpions) refuse to re-open the investigation even though a large body of new evidence and affidavits have been submitted?
- How were, the ANC involved in the crash, since at the time they were active in many facets of internally and externally sponsored terrorism, sedition and treason?
- Who or what stood to gain from the Helderberg crash?
- Whom or which group planned and funded the crash and why were they never investigated and charged?
- Why are certain people holding all the documents and not publishing these final pieces of information, are they holding out for money, fame or the ability to eventually extort the perpetrators?
And Just to Stir the Pot a Little
- Was the Helderberg intercepted and shot down by an SAAF Mirgae III Cheetah?
- Where is the Mirage III (Cheetah)?
- Where are the Mirage III’s engines?
- Would the SA government, under the advice of the US State Department or otherwise, shoot down the Helderberg if it were carrying fissile material that could have gone critical due to the onboard fire, if the plane was allowed to land at MRU? (after all, where is that 4th engine????)
- Why have the VOFOH group gone silent?
The more information I get, the uglier this looks.
